 A case study conducted in Charlotte, North Carolina has mounted additional evidence the EIFS has significant energy savings characteristics that have been largely overlooked by homeowners, Realtors, builders, and certainly by the media. In this side-by-side comparison, the home clad with EIFS posted an energy savings of more than 28% over a 21-month period. With the energy costs sky rocketing, a 28% reduction in energy costs can add up to significant savings for EIFS homeowners. On average, the EIFS homeowner saved more than $1089 annually, which is equal to more than $90 every month.
